  • Transportation & Getting Around

    Free Gondola: Connects Telluride & Mountain Village from 6:30am–midnight (later during festivals).

    Dial-A-Ride: Free for Mountain Village guests (text to book a ride!)

    No Car Needed: Most guests park once and walk or ride gondolas everywhere.

    Airport Access: Closest airports: Montrose (MTJ), Telluride (TEX), Durango (DRO)

  • Local Tips

    Altitude Awareness: You're at 9,500+ ft. Hydrate, go easy the first day, and avoid too much alcohol early on.

    Pack Layers: Weather changes fast—even in summer.

    Reservations: Book dinners and gear rentals ahead, especially during peak seasons.

    Sun Protection: The UV is strong here—bring sunscreen and sunglasses year-round.

    Respect the Wildlife: Keep your distance and trash secure.
